When drawers and pot-and-pan drawers open automatically at the press of a finger anywhere on the drawer front, this not only lifts the lid on fascinating new horizons in handleless design, it also turns kitchen dreams into reality. Never again will it be necessary to open the pot-and-pan drawer awkwardly with dirty hands because now it opens at the mere press of the hip or knee. This also makes easy work of opening and closing handled cabinets for example where garbage cans are particularly heavy or wide drawers need moving. Furthermore, the accustomed convenience of "Silent System" is fully preserved.

With Hettich's new "Easys" system, an electronic drive unit takes care of the smooth, even opening movement. Despite width or load, the speed and opening distance of drawers and pot-and-pan drawers are selected to simulate opening by hand. Meanwhile, the opening movement halts reliably when slight resistance is met.

Open is one thing, closing another; drawers and pot-and-pan drawers require no electrical assistance to close them. Hettich's time-honored runner system and "Silent System" ensure that the drawers close gently and quietly in the familiar manner. And if there's a power cut, the drawer can also be opened in the normal way.

The new Hettich system works quietly. Added to this is the short activation path that reduces gaps to a minimum and retains the full function of cabinets with sealing lips.
